Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; “similar storage” means things like your browser's local storage. Klyro keeps this to the minimum. We don't use analytics, advertising, social-media or tracking cookies, and we don't fingerprint your browser.
Nothing loads until you choose
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you press a button, nothing is loaded from any other company (not our sign-in provider, not live chat). You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (or Do Not Track), the one optional feature starts switched off.
Necessary (always on after you've chosen)
| Name | Set by | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
klyro_consent | Klyro | Remembers your privacy choice | 180 days |
__session, __client_uat and similar | Clerk (our sign-in provider), on our own domain | Prove who you are, so you can stay signed in. We can't sign you in without them. | Short-lived and refreshed automatically, or until you sign out. See Clerk's documentation for exact lifetimes. |
staffly_discord_state, staffly_roblox_state | Klyro | A security check while you connect a Discord or Roblox account | 10 minutes |
klyro_theme (local storage) | Klyro | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme or to match your device. Saved only if you choose one. | Until you clear your browser data |
klyro_news_seen (session storage) | Klyro | Remembers that we've already checked for important news during this visit, so it opens once | Until you close the tab |
klyro_nav_collapsed, klyro_dismissed_platform, klyro_dismissed_banner (local storage) | Klyro | Remember which menu groups you collapsed and which banners you closed | Until you clear your browser data |
Optional (off unless you allow it)
Live chat support is provided by Psstly, a separate company. If you allow it, your browser loads their code, which sees your IP address and may set its own cookies or local storage. See their privacy policy for details. If you don't allow it, none of this happens, and you can still reach us by support ticket.
Other companies' images
If you connect Discord or Roblox, your avatar is shown from their servers. That isn't a cookie, but it does mean they can see your IP address when a page is shown. See the Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to change your choice. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser, but if you block the necessary ones, you won't be able to sign in.
