Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026 (version 2026-10-22)
These terms are an agreement between you and Klyro (“we”, “us”), a hobby project run by an individual in New York, USA. By creating an account or using Klyro you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Klyro.
1. Who can use Klyro
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they're responsible for your use. You can't use Klyro if you've been banned from it, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it. You must also follow the rules of the services Klyro connects to, including the Discord and Roblox terms.
2. Your account
Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens on it. Tell us at legal@klyro.team if you think someone else has used it.
3. Communities and their Owners
A community's Owner decides how their community uses Klyro and is responsible for it: for what they and their staff record about members, for using that information lawfully and fairly (including asking for no more than they need, and being careful with information about minors), and for following Discord's and Roblox's rules. Klyro provides the tools; we don't run your community and aren't responsible for decisions made in it.
4. What you can't do
- Break the law, or use Klyro to harass, threaten, stalk, scam or impersonate anyone, or to share someone's private information.
- Upload anything unlawful, or that you don't have the right to use, including pictures that infringe copyright. Never upload sexual content involving minors; we'll report it.
- Try to break, probe, overload or get around the service or its limits; scrape it; access other people's data or accounts; or build or use cheats or exploits against it.
- Use Klyro to collect more personal information about people, especially under-18s, than you need, or to collect information from anyone under 13.
- Use someone else's API key, or share yours in a way that lets others misuse it.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into Klyro. You give us permission to store, process, display and back it up as needed to run the service for you and your community. You're responsible for it. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms or the law, or to protect people.
6. Other companies' services
Klyro works with services such as Discord, Roblox, Clerk, Vercel and Google. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Discord or Roblox; their names and marks belong to them. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on Klyro infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated contact, legal@klyro.team, with: your name and contact details; a description of the work; where it appears on Klyro; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for them; and your signature. We'll remove infringing material, may tell the person who posted it, and will consider a counter-notice. We may end the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. Suspension and ending
We may warn, limit, suspend or end accounts or communities that break these terms or put people at risk, usually with a reason, and sometimes without notice where safety requires it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. You can ask us to review a decision by contacting support.
9. Changes to the service
Klyro is a hobby project, offered free. It may have bugs, go down, change or stop. We'll try to give notice of big changes and a way to download your data, but we don't promise any level of availability.
10. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, Klyro is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk and should keep your own copies of anything important.
11. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim relating to Klyro is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be settled informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where available.
13. The rest
If part of these terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't giving it up. You can't transfer your account to someone else. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the version and date above and ask you to agree again the next time you open Klyro.
